Privacy policy

MyAssets365 ("the app") is published by Novatrix Consulting. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app.
The short version
- Your property records, documents and finances stay on your device.
- We do not run ads, we do not sell data, and the app contains no analytics or tracking.
- You don't need an account to use the app.
Data stored on your device
Everything you enter is stored on your device. On iPhone and Android it is kept in an encrypted database, and the key is held in the phone's secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore). In the web version it is kept in your browser's storage for this site, on the computer you use. We cannot see or access any of it.
Because the data exists only on your device, deleting the app (or clearing this site's data in your browser) deletes it. Make backups.
Sync (when available)
A future version will offer optional sync between your devices. If you turn it on, your data is encrypted on your device before it is sent, with a key only you hold. Our servers store the encrypted data so your other devices can fetch it, but we cannot read it. To sync you will create an account (email, Google or Apple), and we will store your email address and the encrypted data. You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from the app. This section will be updated when sync is released.
Device permissions
The app may ask for Face ID / fingerprint (for the optional app lock), the camera (to photograph documents) and notifications (for reminders). Each is used only on your device for that purpose.
Website
This website and the web app are served by our web server, which keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted after 14 days and are not used for tracking. The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
